DR. MELISSA WALDRON, PT
Melissa Waldron, PT, DPT is a graduate of Rutgers University School of Health Professions. She completed her most recent clinical residency with the Inner Dynamics Physical Therapy team where she lead a return to running video series for those wishing to get back to running following pregnancy or orthopedic injury.
Melissa became interested in pelvic health physical therapy from her experience as a personal trainer. She was exposed to women who dealt with urinary incontinence postpartum as well as women with endometriosis and it directly affected the way they exercised and lived their lives. Melissa wishes to raise awareness and to help individuals who are silently suffering return to an active and healthy lifestyle with as little limitations as possible.
Melissa is passionate about providing individualized one-on-one care while being mindful of how mental health and stress affect recovery. Her approach to treatment focuses on the patient as a whole in order to improve quality of life and promote overall well being.
More recently, Melissa has dealt with her own experience with pelvic pain, allowing her to truly understand the difficulties and challenges her patients face along their healing journey.
When she’s not treating patients, Melissa enjoys playing beach volleyball and golf, soaking up the sun at the Jersey shore and growing vegetables and herbs in her garden to use for her latest culinary creations.
