Dr. Alison Ankiewicz Featured by CURE Today to Discuss Pelvic Health After Cancer

Pelvic Physical Therapy After Cancer Restores Intimacy, Wellness

with Dr. Alison Ankiewicz, PT

We’re proud to share that Dr. Alison Ankiewicz, co-founder of Inner Dynamics Physical Therapy, was recently featured by CURE Today in an article highlighting the importance of pelvic health for women recovering from cancer.

Earlier this year, Dr. Ankiewicz led a virtual educational session for guests at Mary’s Place by the Sea, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting women with cancer through rest, healing, and education. As Vice Chair of the Board, Dr. Ankiewicz is deeply involved in the organization’s mission to provide integrative care for the mind, body, and spirit.

Following her presentation, she was invited by CURE Today – a trusted publication that provides cancer news, survivor stories, and educational resources – to further share her expertise in their article, “Pelvic Physical Therapy After Cancer Restores Intimacy, Wellness.”

In the piece, Dr. Ankiewicz discusses how pelvic floor physical therapy can help women rebuild strength, restore intimacy, and improve overall wellness after cancer treatment. Pelvic health challenges are common but often overlooked in survivorship, and through education and specialized care, Dr. Ankiewicz and the Inner Dynamics team are working to change that.

We’re honored to see pelvic health included in this important national conversation and grateful to both CURE Today and Mary’s Place by the Sea for helping raise awareness of this vital aspect of healing and quality of life.
